Instructions Soak clay pot and lid in cold tap water for 1/2 hour or more; drain; do not dry. Preheat oven to 325F Place chuck roast in pot. Sprinkle with parsley flakes, Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt and pepper. Cover with water soaked lid. Cover and bake for 1 1/4 hours Add beef broth and vegetables and bake for another 45 minutes or until meat is tender.
